Vodafone has recently announced that they will axe their email service after 20 years, requiring customers with a Vodafone email address to switch to an alternative provider before or on 30 November 2017. The media has suggested that the move follows issues over the last few months including high levels of spam and delayed mail. Vodafone will contact affected customers about the closure, they will provide information on how to set up a new email address (encouraging users to set up a free Microsoft or Google email account) and automatic forwarding.
